_Thngs I do *NOT* prefer in Plague of the Dead:_ġ) the greyish look, duller colours of many elements, and the rather ominous atmosphere (partly due to the relatively sombre music).Ģ) The blurriness of certain graphical elements and the plasticy-looking rocksĤ) the strangely shaped moon, and it's unrealistic size.ĥ) The sea birds, which now look like annoying moths, due to their tiny size.I thought the seaguls were fantastic in CH.Ħ) The dull, murky grey-green colour of the ship-management and other windows. _Things I prefer in Plague of the Dead:_ġ) Seamless merging of harbours with Open WorldĢ) The fact that we can access and upgrade the fort and buildings in captured national ports.ģ) I like the map (chart) icon better than the one in CH, which was easily mistaken for a compass.Ĥ) I like that we are not pressured to attack ports before we feel so inclined.ĥ) I like the way ships sometimes explode prior to sinking.Ħ) I like the the news tidbits gleaned from recued surviors.ħ) While I generally prefer CH's realism to PD's fantasy theme, I have to admit I find the Cracken a gas! I think they did a good job of that. The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt is a Free-to-Play game currently available for download at Steam.
